Amber Morris and Marcos Crocetti met while working as a teacher/office manager and a chef at a school in Connecticut. While Marcos, as the chef, initially judged Amber for her poor, cheap palette upon meeting, they very quickly realized they were kindred spirits in every other way.

One day they were talking about their dreams, and discovered they both had a long-standing one in common: to make their creativity and art a bigger part of their lives and to open a studio of their own.

Moments after this conversation, Marcos popped his head back into Amber’s office and asked “Want to move to Florida and open an art studio together?”

Without hesitation, Amber agreed.

A year later they packed their bags and made their way down south, and after many more months of literal blood, sweat and tears, with moments of both celebration and heartache, losses and wins - Firefly Art Studios has finally become a dream come true.

Firefly’s mission is to help individuals find their light, and then share it with the world.
